VAT Filing

Accurate VAT returns filed on time, every period — with refunds claimed and records review-ready.

Overview

What this service covers

Registered businesses must file VAT returns each period — usually quarterly — and pay any net VAT due by the deadline. Returns have to correctly report output VAT on sales and reclaim input VAT on purchases, backed by reconciled records.

We prepare, reconcile and file your VAT returns on time every period, manage any refund claims, and keep your records ready for an FTA review — so VAT is never a last-minute scramble.

Ideal for: any VAT-registered business that wants filings handled accurately and on time.

FAQs

VAT Filing — frequently asked questions

How often do I have to file VAT returns?+
Most businesses file quarterly, though the FTA assigns some businesses a monthly period. Your assigned period is shown on your VAT certificate.
When are VAT returns due?+
VAT returns and payments are due within 28 days of the end of each tax period. For a quarter ending in March, the deadline is 28 April.
Do I need to file if I had no sales?+
Yes — a nil return is still required for every assigned period. Missing it incurs the same late-filing penalty as a missed return with tax due.
Can I reclaim VAT on business purchases?+
Yes. Eligible input VAT on business purchases is offset against the output VAT you collect on sales, and any net refund can be claimed from the FTA.
